Flexi Konnect is a digital-first social enterprise dedicated to unlocking inclusive economic opportunities for underserved entrepreneurs, particularly refugees, youth, women, and marginalized communities. Through our digital platform and solar-powered innovation hubs, we connect entrepreneurs with investment, markets, mentorship, business support, and global opportunities, enabling them to build sustainable businesses and transform their communities.
Our Story
Flexi Konnect was founded by Sylvain Himbana, a refugee social entrepreneur and co-founder of SINA Loketa (SINAL), after witnessing the challenges many entrepreneurs face in accessing capital, markets, and professional networks. While many had innovative ideas and thriving businesses, they lacked the connections needed to grow.
To bridge this gap, Flexi Konnect was created as an inclusive ecosystem that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, buyers, development partners, and innovators. Today, together with SINA LOKETA, Flexi Konnect operates its first innovation hub in Bidibidi Refugee Settlement, supporting entrepreneurs with co-working spaces, internet access, business development services, and investment readiness.
